Hi all,

Can any one tell me how to apply temperature gradient across the slab thickness when it has been modelled at center line so as to use Shell element, in ANSYS. If there is any other way to model the deck slab i.e. with some other element or like so as to apply the temperature gradient across the bridge deck or any slab. If any one has any kind of idea or suggestion in this regard, then do share, it could be of great help to me. Main problem is "How to Apply TEMERATURE GRADIENT across slab thickness in ANSYS". or any other software package in which it is possible or any other idea in this regard.

Regards,

Saurabh Gupta.
