Considering the importance of the ongoing discussions alongwith the impact
it may generate, we at SEFI have decided to extend the e-Conference on draft
revisions for IS:800, till November 07, 2003. I hope this will provide more
time for covering every aspect of this voluminous code, and the wide changes
that are being proposed.

I hope all the active participant will continue their valuable inputs, and
expect a much wider participation from the silent ones.

Considering that there was a high standard of e-discussion taking place, it was found
worthwhile to extend the e-conference upto 7 November. However, Diwali being Diwali, it is
natural to expect no postings during this week. I would suggest that let there be a formal
break till 27 October and recommence the e-conference from 28 Oct. Rudra Nevatia's suggestion
seems quite in order. With some suitable format, the recommencement of the e-conference could
be made.

Could others give in their suggestions for the second phase of the e-conference?
