Dear Sir,

Thanks SEFI and Dr.V. Kalyanaraman for providing opportunity to discuss
provisions of Draft IS:800

Section 3 , Clause 3.1.2.2 of draft code states;

Where the Limit States Method can not be conveniently adopted; Working
Stress Method (Section 11) may also be used.


I request code committee members to elaborate this provision for
clarification.
