HiThis quarry is with reference to Clause 8.1.3.3.3Suppose a single tower is having two wings separated by stairwell and elevator banks without having a connecting beam in between .There is also a level difference in diaphragm between the wings and central connecting portion .什么是正确的哲学与参考to above clause? should we consider two towers joined by a podium ?.

This depends on the connection between the 2 blocks with the central core.

If there is expansion joint provided between the elements at upper level, but are joined in the basement, the it has to be analysed as towers connected by a podium.
If the joint is provided throughout, then these need to be analysed separately without any interaction, with adequate expansion gap.

If you have 2 towers connected through the staircase and lift (without expansion joint), then it need to be analysed as a single structure with 2 separate diaphragms.
