For past few days, I have been receiving the daily digest regularly. Except that I am getting no other mails regularly, not even reply notifications.

I am not comfortable participating in discussion forum through daily digests.

So, kindly do the needful so that I receive the mails from general discussion forum.

You need to edit your preferences to get the mails in your desired format. You can get mails individually or in digest form (daily digest as you appear to be getting now, and weekly digest). As I understand, you need to do the following

1. Login to www.buonovino.com through browser (IE/Firefox/Chrome, etc)
2. At top of page, go to Digest Preferences
3. In this, opt out of Daily Digest - select None (Unsubscribe). At the bottom of page, select the button to save the changes
4. At the top of the page, go to Subscriptions.
5. Set the options of how the posts should appear and click the button to save the settings. Then, select all the forums which you want to subscribe to. Click the button nearby to set the subscription for the selected forums.

Hopefully, above procedure will get you the posts to your mail as required by you

In past two days, I have received three posts from general discussion, on my new mail id. But the replies given by others to those posts have not been received.

I have replied to two of the posts and I have received my posts also.

I think the technical problem has been partially sorted out.
